Knowledge quiz: test what people know
A knowledge quiz has right answers. It works as a challenge (“Can you get all 10 right?”), as a level check before a course, or as trivia that keeps an audience engaged. Questions can be drawn at random from a question bank, and an optional time limit adds pressure for challenge-style quizzes. Score ranges map to levels, each with its own call to action.
Scored quiz: measure and qualify
A scored quiz or scorecard has no right answers: each option carries points, and the total places the respondent in a level such as “getting started” or “ready to scale”. Add dimensions to score several areas at once and show a radar chart. It is the natural choice for lead qualification, because the score tells you how warm each lead is.
Personality or outcome quiz: segment and get shared
An outcome quiz sorts people into types: each answer votes for one or more outcomes and the most-voted type wins. Types are easy to remember and fun to share, and each one can point at a different offer or email sequence. The method is covered in how to score a personality quiz.
AI quiz: give everyone a personal report
An AI quiz is not scored. You write instructions, and AI writes each respondent a report from their answers and any files they upload — a CV, a pitch deck, a screenshot, a voice note. It takes more care to set up and uses AI credits, but the result is something people cannot get from a generic quiz, which makes it a strong offer for higher-value leads. How to choose in 30 seconds
- You want people to share their result → personality (outcome) quiz.
- You want to know how ready or qualified each lead is → scored quiz.
- You want to check what someone knows, or run a challenge → knowledge quiz.
- You want to review someone’s situation or work and start a one-to-one conversation → AI quiz.
- Still unsure → start from a template for your use case; each one already uses the format that fits it.
