RooQuiz quizzes capture leads and book calls. The Slack connector posts each one into a channel you choose — with the answers, the result they scored, and a link straight back to the lead.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, about two minutes

Authorize

Click Add to Slack, sign in to RooQuiz, and approve the app in your workspace. One workspace per RooQuiz team.

Pick a channel

Choose any public or private channel the bot has been invited to. Run /invite @rooquiz in that channel first.

Set the triggers

Choose which events fire it and which quizzes it covers. All of it stays editable under Connectors.

Four scopes, and what each one is for

RooQuiz asks for the narrowest set of bot scopes that lets it post where you tell it to.
  • chat:writePost the lead and booking messages into the channel you picked. This is the only thing RooQuiz writes to Slack.
  • channels:readList your public channels so you can pick one from a dropdown instead of hunting for a channel ID.
  • groups:readDo the same for the private channels the bot has already been invited to.
  • team:readRead the workspace name so the connector can show which workspace it is attached to.

RooQuiz does not ask for permission to read your messages, files or member profiles, and it never posts as you — every message comes from the RooQuiz bot.
