Quiz funnel

Last updated Oct 16, 2026

Quick answer

A quiz funnel is a marketing funnel that uses a quiz as its entry point: visitors start a quiz, answer a few questions, opt in with their email to see a personalized result, and are then offered a next step that fits that result — such as booking a call, buying a product or joining a program.

The four stages of a quiz funnel

  1. View — someone lands on the quiz from a link, an embed or a QR code.
  2. Start — they answer the first question. The title and cover decide this step.
  3. Submit — they finish and, usually, enter an email to see the result.
  4. Act — the results page offers one next step, and they click it.

Where quiz funnels leak

Most drop-off happens between start and submit (too many questions, or an email asked for too early) and between result and action (a results page with no clear next step). Measuring each stage separately tells you which one to fix. Use the quiz funnel calculator to model how a change at one stage moves your leads and calls.
