Why the results page is where calls get booked
A quiz result is a small diagnosis: the respondent has just read something specific about their own situation. That is the moment they are most curious about what to do next — and the moment a “talk it through with me” offer feels like help rather than a pitch. Send them to a generic contact page a day later and most of that intent is gone.
So the shortest path from quiz to client is a booking button on the result itself. Getting the quiz built and the lead captured is covered in how to capture leads with a quiz; this guide covers the step after: turning a result into a booked call.

How to add Cal.com booking to your quiz, step by step
Create the event type in Cal.com
In Cal.com, set up the event people will book from the quiz, such as a 20-minute intro call or a free consultation, and copy its booking link (for example cal.com/your-name/intro-call).
Turn on the booking block
In RooQuiz, open your quiz settings, go to Result page follow-up and switch on the booking section for the results page. You can change its title, description and button text, or leave them empty to use the default copy in the quiz language.
Paste your Cal.com link
Paste the booking link into the Cal.com booking link field. Links on cal.com and cal.eu are both accepted. Respondents now see the booking block under their result, and clicking it opens your booking page on top of the result with their name and email already filled in.
Connect Cal.com to track bookings
On the Connectors page, a team owner or admin connects Cal.com: authorize RooQuiz in Cal.com, or paste an API key if your account is on the EU region. Once connected, you can pick the event type from a list in the booking settings instead of pasting a link.
Prepare each call from the lead
Each booking appears on the lead it came from, next to their answers and result. Read them before the call, and open with what they told you rather than a generic discovery script.
Tips that get more of the right calls booked
- Write copy that fits every result: the booking block appears under each result, so offer a next step that makes sense for a “ready now” respondent and a “not sure yet” one alike, such as “Talk through your result with me”.
- Name the call after the result: “Book a 20-minute plan review for your score” gives people a reason to click that “Schedule a meeting” doesn’t, because it continues the diagnosis they just read.
- Keep the event short and free: the quiz has already done the qualifying; the first call only needs to be long enough to agree on a next step.
- Ask for the email before the result: prefill works from what the respondent has already given you, so an email step before the result means fewer fields on the booking page.
- Follow up with everyone who didn’t book: segment the rest by result — the follow-up playbook is in how coaches use quizzes to get clients.
What syncs back once Cal.com is connected
When a respondent books from their result, Cal.com sends the booking back to RooQuiz. It is attached to the respondent’s lead, so for every booked call you can see the result that prompted it. If the call is rescheduled or cancelled in Cal.com, the change syncs back too — Cal.com stays the place where you manage the calendar, and RooQuiz shows where each booking came from. Booking events can also go to Slack and email on any plan, or to Webhook, Zapier and Kit on Pro, like any other lead activity.
